Sales NetworkDaily cleaning and maintenance of Aquaestil cast sanitary acrylic bathtubs is quick and easy. For cleaning, use a cloth or smooth sponge and standard liquid bathroom detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners and cleaning agents that contain microgranules that could scratch the surface. A smooth sponge soaked in vinegar, or a vinegar-based agent is recommended for removing limescale. After cleaning, the surface should be rinsed with water and dried. Agents with the following ingredients must explicitly not be used on acrylic products: hydrogen peroxide, ammonia, aminophenol, phenylenediamine, toluenediamine, resorcinol, iodine.
For cleaning the surface of Aquaestil cast sanitary acrylic bathtubs, we recommend Aquaestil cleaning solution for acrylic and glass surfaces.
Bathtubs made of cast sanitary acrylic are characterized by optimal heat and sound insulation and a perfectly smooth surface that is extremely pleasant to the touch. Cast sanitary acrylic, in contrast to standard acrylic ABS or polyester, offers wide possibilities of removing any surface damage.
Minor damage to surfaces in glossy effect can be repaired with water-based sandpaper with a grain size of 240 to 800 and then polished with a paste. Wipe off any remaining polishing paste with a clean, damp cloth. Afterwards, clean the entire bathtub with a mild multipurpose/neutral cleaning solution.
Minor damage to surfaces in matte effect can be repaired by using a soft sanding pad with 320 grit on the affected area. After the procedure, clean the entire bathtub with a mild multipurpose/neutral cleaning solution.
In the event of major damage, contact an authorized Aquaestil service support provider to learn about possible ways to remove the damage.
